So how does it feel like stepping into school after 8 months!
I just feel really old.

i think its partly because i don't have internet at home, okay i am lazy.
i'm currently hooked on care bears. grumpy bear is so cute!
never knew they had a cartoon series. haha my friend says i have no childhood hmm.
anyway its freezing in NZ and i didnt really expect such cold weather.
so every morning i pile on 2 layers of clothes and 3 hoodies.
2 weeks more and internship ends, then i'll be travelling ard NZ for 7 days followed by aussie for 7 days.
watching loads of shows now.
love glee and criminal minds.
gonna chill on the sofa later with some beer and chips and catch the royal wedding.
well thats b/c there is pretty much nth to do here.

well... saw this on my sister's fb, and it didnt help.
hahahaha omg its really funny!
i wonder why actually, its prob disbelief that the kids these days are so spoilt and pampered.
or the fact that this has turned into a big hoo-ha.
NZ is starting to feel fine, comfortable and relaxing.
i am exercising more than i ever do in singapore, which is a good thing, right?
i cycle to school at least 3 times a week, and now we've joined kickboxing too.
kickboxing is quite interesting i suppose, but i ended up with blueblacks all over my thigh and leg.
its 4 hourly sessions per week for $12, so thats quite a good deal.
school started on monday, so its weird seeing the area crowded with people.
its like, there is actually life in school!
made another investment, a lunchbox. but it might just be a little too big, its like 2L.
the concept of a lunchbox kind of faded out of my life many years ago.
but food is just too expensive here, so leftovers for lunch!
12 more weeks till i am back in singapore.
11 more weeks till australia.
10 more weeks till internship ends
7 more weeks to auckland.
6 more weeks till my parents come.
haha fairly interesting and packed last few weeks!
currently rotting at the interns room in school b/c the next pig feeding is at 2pm.
woke up at 640am just to go grocery shopping at this "market" a few blocks from us.
they have a wide range of fruits and vegetables at a lower price so its gonna be a weekly affair!
after 5 weeks here, i'm pretty much settled down.
alternate days of cooking, a rather slower paced of life which i actually like hahaha.
expts are OK so far, and my budget is not so tight this mth b/c i'm spending more time feeding pigs.
gonna travel on the first weekend of march though so looking forward to that!
by then it wld have been 7 weeks here.
and may be joining some kickboxing trng for fun,some other intern recommended us to go so we'll see.
joined a 7km run on tuesday and i will prob do that for 2 subsequent tuesdays.
getting my fair share of exercise too, 1-2 times a week eating out.
bought this bowl of noodles from chinese takeaway thinking we'll get the nice takeout box, but no we didnt.
anyway i split the bowl of noodles into 4 meals so its quite worth, about $2.50 a bowl.
bought 10 bottles of ginger ale for $12, thats quite worth too!
so there is church later, dimsum on sunday, pigs.
a week of work, kickboxing, and weekend of nice breakfast, ice-cream and walking around town!
that sums it up for the next 2 weeks!
i love feb! it only has 28 days!
and then posessive, barely
i wld definitely be absent minded, because i have lost a bunch of things already.
lost 3 phones in my whole life, 1 laptop, a few wallets etc.
i was just suddenly imagining what it wld be like to live with someone like me.
i imagine myself as someone
1. kiam siap/stingy
haha as you know my love for chicken breast, i havent eaten chicken breast since i arrived in nz. i've been trying to control my craving okay. thats because chicken breast is more expensive, so i force myself to eat thigh and drumstick which i hate the most. hmm now i sound like a spoilt child. but yes i am willing to step out of my comfort zone to save $. hahaha and i dont exactly think thats a nice thing to live with!
2. boring
yes i actually think i am really boring, mundane. i stick to a daily routine and i am comfortable just lazing around or stoning. i hardly have an opinion of my own actually hahaha unless its regarding $$$.
3. lazy
i dont want to exercise! hahaha i'm content with eating chips and timtams.
4. weird
i can imagine myself being weird and queer, have the strangest ideas that hardly coincide with societal norms.
ok i was just being random hahaha as i was thinking about living with myself hahaha!
then i walked 1 hour to go church and back.
my legs were sore hahaha and on sunday i walked an hr to school.
wow, never did so much walking in singapore, unless you count the time we walked from town to carkey's hse.
or jeslin and me walking from her hse to town.
ate korean food on sunday, and it tasted awesome.
it was so weird b/c when we ate it, my energy just went up.
its like if you play sims, the mood meter would probably be full.
currently waiting for my expt to run so i have some time at the library.
gonna catch black swan tonight, its like cheap tickets on tuesdays (which are actually $9)
normal tickets are $15, and you dont get to choose your seats, its kinda first come first served.
this week will be pretty much the same, except that we're travelling to napier this weekend.
its some wine city or smth, and i might be going to this sheepskin factory.
hahaha can i buy sheepskins, add meat and sew them tgt to give you your sheep?
Ahhhhh I did it again. Meaning, lose something while overseas. And this time, I lost my laptop. Yea I am so absent minded and I cannot tell my parents cause I will be scolded terribly. The worse part was the fact that I took the bus back to school to look for it, and the bus like comes hourly. Haha so failed cannot find. So at 710pm I had t wait for a 810pm bus. But...that bus never came and it was cold and quiet! Waited till 850pm in the cold and decided to take a risk. I hitched a ride thankfully!! Ate dinner at 930pm haha what a day. I miss my lappie
